Patron Admission — Single Concert $45
Admission to one concert with a reserved front-row seat.
Patron tickets directly support the mission of Music & Meditation Santa Barbara, helping us maintain accessibility while fostering an intimate listening environment. Includes post-concert tea and artist conversation.

Season Subscription — General Admission (4 Concerts) $100
Admission to all four concerts in the Music & Meditation season.
Open seating for each performance. A meaningful way to commit to deep listening and shared presence across the entire series. Includes post-concert tea at each event.

Season Patron Subscription — Reserved Seating Front Row (4 Concerts) $160
Admission to all four concerts with reserved front-row seating at each performance. Season Patrons provide essential support for the continuation of this series and its community-centered mission. Includes priority seating, post-concert tea, and patron acknowledgment.

What is Music & Meditation Santa Barbara?
Music and Meditation Santa Barbara is a new concert series that combines guided meditation with live classical music. Each event is designed to quiet the mind, open the senses, and create a unique space for inner reflection and deep listening.

What will happen during the event?
The event lasts about one hour and includes:

  • A brief welcome and introduction
  • A 15-minute guided meditation led by Jessica Kolbe
  • A 35-minute live music performance 
  • Closing reflections to integrate the experience

Do I need to have experience with meditation?
Not at all! The guided meditation is simple, gentle, and designed for everyone—whether you’re a beginner or have years of practice.

What kind of music will be performed?
The repertoire is carefully selected to support the meditative atmosphere, blending classical works with contemporary inspirations, tailored to the vision of the series.

Where are the events held?
The concerts take place in Weinman Hall at the Music Academy of the West,
1070 Fairway Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93108. The hall is intimate, beautiful, and perfect for this experience.

How long is the event?
Approximately 60 minutes.

What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive at least 10–15 minutes early to check in, settle in your seat, and begin the event in a relaxed state.

Is there assigned seating?
Seating is partially assigned. Patron ticket holders receive preferred front-row seating. General admission seating is first come, first served for the remaining seats during the 2026 Spring concert series.

How much are tickets?
General admission tickets are $30. Patron tickets are $45 for those wishing to provide extra support; patrons receive preferred front-row seating. A limited number of season passes are also available.

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to another person if you cannot attend.

What should I bring?
Just yourself! No special clothing or equipment is required. Comfortable attire is recommended to fully enjoy the meditation and music.

Who are the organizers?
The series is created and directed by pianist and composer Antonio Artese and meditation guide Jessica Kolbe, with production support from Rachel Egenes.

Will there be more events in the future?
The Spring 2026 season includes 4 concerts. Future seasons will be planned based on the success and sustainability of this inaugural season. We recommend signing up to our mailing list on the website to remain informed about future events.
