OPENING CONCERT
Music and Meditation Santa Barbara brings together the timeless beauty of live music with the calming practice of guided meditation. Each event is designed as a journey inward — preparing the mind through stillness and breath, then opening the heart to music.
Our inaugural gathering takes place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the intimate setting of Weinman Hall at the Music Academy of the West. This pilot event marks the beginning of a new series in Santa Barbara, where audience feedback will help shape the season ahead.
The concert begins with a 15-minute guided meditation led by Jessica Kolbe, who gently prepares listeners to enter a space of awareness and presence. Her guidance offers a bridge from silence to music, inviting the audience to listen with openness and calm.
THE PROGRAM
Seating is limited to just 60 guests in Weinman Hall — we encourage you to reserve early to be part of this special first edition of Music and Meditation Santa Barbara.
Antonio Artese – Piano
This opening concert will be performed by Antonio Artese, pianist, composer, and artistic director of the series. His career bridges classical tradition, jazz improvisation, and multi-sensory performance. With Music and Meditation, he brings his vision of music as a pathway to reflection and inner connection.
